franklin_bashOH GOD. I loved everything about this episode everything and I am going to die. My mum's here and so I'm meant to go and do grown up things, but I have made screencaps and I am going to squeal for just a bit because I have to get it out of my head, and ljahsdfjowes.

I'm going to post some pictures, they're not really samples because I've soft light screened them, the ones in the file are as they came, so the colour isn't as wrong as these.
I LOVE JANE SEYMOUR SO MUCH OH GOD I LOVE HER AND I LOVE HER BEING NEAR MARK-PAUL GOSSELAAR AND I WANT HER TO STAY FOREVER AND I WANT TO SEE ALLLLLLLLL THE STUFF THEY CLEARLY CUT OUT OF HER AND I WANT HER TO TOUCH JARED OH GOD I LOVED HOW MUCH SHE LOVED JARED and I will step away from my shift key.
Seriously, I loved how they did Peter's mom, and I love them together, and I was worried it would be really boring with the whole 'oh not wanting her to sleep with people and it being different when it was her to when it was him' but it wasn't too much like that, it was just like him sort of not wanting to be embarrassed but not in a shaming way? I don't know. It just worked for me and OH GOD I loved her with Jared, she was amazing and perfect and brought them lunch in a bag, and she loves them and they love her and I LOVE THEM.
There's that line in the first season where Peter is all 'you get to have sex but your mom has to watch' and Jared says 'can it be your mom because I think I coudl get into that' and OH GOD I THINK JARED COULD GET INTO THAT I LOVE HIM I LOVE HIM I LOVE THAT THEY MADE BROWNIES TOGETHER REALLY.
I hated Peter and Jared having that weird two sentences of Jared going 'your mom is the coolest' and Peter going 'it was hard having a cool mom'. As if they don't both already know those things from their 23 years of TOTAL LOVE, it felt like really lazy writing to me but IDaK.
I LOVED ALL THE COCK BLOCKING OH GOD, I loved how much it amused Jared, and how sometimes Jared didn't even have to try, Peter just THOUGHT ABOUT HIM and had to leave. If by 'multi-episode romantic interest' they just mean that he asks her out one episode and then mostly fails to have sex with her the next, that is WAY MORE FINE with me than I thought. And al;akshdfoiwesdf. I LOVE HIM, and I love seeing him kiss girls and I loved the snuggling on the couch because it was ALL THE SHAPES that I think Peter and Jared make and I love Peter Bash and I love MPG and I LOVE THE WAY HE LOOKS AT PEOPLE AND KISSES THEM. Um. lKSJHdofISDjfiowiehfsldkfjsdf. SERIOUSLY ? His mom wanted to send him a booty call so she decides on short skirt, no panties? Just after last week's episode of Jared being all short skirt no panties? I might have been a bit happy. Probably she found all of Peter's texts to Jared about short skirt, no panties, and that's why she did it. Probably.
Damien was AMAZING, it was like he was genuinely straight and had been being confused about Peter and then here was PETER! But in the shape of Jane Seymour, and he was so happy with her and so beautiful.
I sort of hate Hanna for being invited into court/the episode and declining, but it is HARD to be sad with Hanna when she is wearing . . . anything actually, and I suspect it's hard when she's not wearing anything either, and that's fine, if she just wants to BLIND ME WITH BEAUTY, that's okay. And she was around a bit anyway, so it was good.
I loved Malcolm McDowell enjoying someone else's gift basket. I didn't mind that much about Pindar's whole thing, and I liked Carmen getting to do some investigating. I love Sean Astin but I don't really have anything to say about him.
I LOVE PETER AND JARED DANGEROUS AMOUNTS THEY ARE SO PRETTY, SO PRETTY. I'm stupidly happy about the bed wetting, I'm sorry but I am. I like that it stopped sort of around the age that Jared came into his life, and I just have a thing for it in fic, so it's nice to have a sort of canonical hook. And I love that Jared wants GOLD super powers and is like 'yeah but you will help me carry stuff', and I love EVERYTHING, and THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL, and I love the looks on their faces when they met a superhero.
Janie has terrible hair. I'm not offering photographic evidence. I am really bored by Peter/Janie, and people seem to be shipping them a bit and that hadn't even occurred to me that anyone would because SO DULL and Peter has Jared, but I quite liked Jared being all 'I totally have a shot with her', like he is totally over his angst, even though he isn't, but yes.
In conclusion EVERYTHING. SO HAPPY.
