This popped up as a brief mention on my Tumblr dash this morning and then I could find it again :\ - but I just employed the Googles and this is what I found

While talking about all the things he doesn’t get in comedy with Bullett Media, Reggie Watts let is slip that Kumail Nanjiani who plays an agoraphobic paralegal on the show, will not be returning for the high fives.

“I’m a huge fan. It’s totally brilliant. It’s a really well-designed comedy. There’s not a wasted line in it. Every line is perfect, and totally well-crafted. My friend Kumail [Nanjiani] is on it. I love him on that, but he actually retired from it, they wrote him off.” [Bullett]

Given Nanjiani’s pretty busy schedule with other shows like Veep, Portlandia, being a touring comedian as well as the recent news of getting his own show, it’s no surprise that something had to give in Kumail’s life. He probably had the least amount of input in this role.

First of all, I've seen this Fic Fest being pimped on my flist, and thought it might be ideal for some of our F&B writers and readers to check out for inspiration:

Secondly, Breckin and Mark-Paul have been doing some lovely interviews and promotional stuff for the new season. As well as being nice enough to touch each other lovingly on E!'s 'Fashion Police', they did this gorgeous interview for Starry Mag. I've reproduced it in it's entirety under the cut, so a) you don't even have to click on the link, and b) we will have it preserved for posterity... ;o)

I watch a lovely little sitcom about unconventional friendships and breaking all kinds of social norms while being silly about it called Happy Endings and surprise of surprises, MPG was in the latest episode. I did not expect him to be there! He plays Max(the cuddlycharacter and professional slob)'s new roommate, a Cool Guy with a secret double life.

Reed guests for the second time on Culturally Fixated with podcast hosts located in Leeds and York. The beginning (all I've had time for) is a funny and interesting stream of consciousness conversation. It's kind of fun and you get a window into the actor behind the man who makes Damien happen (apparently this week's hot topic of cheese comes up). Link follows.

Just saw a tweet from the official F&B twitter account:

And yes, that means you can vote on how much you like some ads for the show. Go here for that one. (I was sworn to secrecy and not to share on the internet, but I got to the side via a tweet, so I don't think they actually want me to keep silent about it; anyway, I crossed my fingers behind my back while promising)

After feverishly battling with the EPIC FAIL that livejournal is currently having and being unsuccessful at changing the header for the community. TNT has ordered a second season of Franklin & Bash, the legal drama starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer, EW has learned exclusively. Currently airing Wednesdays at 9 p.m., Franklin & Bash ranks as one of basic cable’s top new series of the summer.

“This summer, Franklin & Bash has broken out as a hugely entertaining series with great characters, sharp writing and a terrific cast,” said Michael Wright, executive vice president, head of programming, for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies in a statement. “We’re thrilled that the show has drawn such a remarkably strong following and look forward to bringing it back next summer.”

I was looking at all these wonderful screenshots kicking about on the comm and I thought, gee, these could make some awesome macros. (Well, actually what i thought was OH EXPLOITABLE, but you know)

Anyone else think this is an okay idea? I'd make some myself for examples, but I'm rather lacking in wit at the moment.
