This popped up as a brief mention on my Tumblr dash this morning and then I could find it again :\ - but I just employed the Googles and this is what I found

While talking about all the things he doesn’t get in comedy with Bullett Media, Reggie Watts let is slip that Kumail Nanjiani who plays an agoraphobic paralegal on the show, will not be returning for the high fives.

“I’m a huge fan. It’s totally brilliant. It’s a really well-designed comedy. There’s not a wasted line in it. Every line is perfect, and totally well-crafted. My friend Kumail [Nanjiani] is on it. I love him on that, but he actually retired from it, they wrote him off.” [Bullett]

Given Nanjiani’s pretty busy schedule with other shows like Veep, Portlandia, being a touring comedian as well as the recent news of getting his own show, it’s no surprise that something had to give in Kumail’s life. He probably had the least amount of input in this role.

Wine is not a cocktail and Peter and Jared don't have wine glasses, well they do, but you know, not so much, probably they wouldn't host a wine party is what I am saying. I am being untrue to them. I don't care, I'm drinking wine, they can drink whatever they find at the back of the cupboards.

I'm being a terrible fan to Franklin and Bash just now, because the snooker world championship is on and it is ALL I CARE ABOUT. So there might have been loads of F&B stuff posted lately, but I've not seen any of it. (Sometimes I pretend Peter and Jared are there, but they're very american and I can't seem to imagine them loving snooker no matter how much I try. Which is sad, for it is beautiful.)

Tell me your thoughts! How do you feel about an outdoor!Pindar? A romance for Hanna? A ...pension for Carmen? It sounds like the flashback episode is Pindar-centric, which is nice, but does mean it isn't about that one time Peter and Jared had make up sex. Ho hum. I love Garcelle Beauvais and her voice, and her shoes. I am sad they haven't put one of these vids together for Bear.

We get new episodes basically ANY DAY NOW. I was going to say by the time it's my go to post again, but we've got 5 Wednesday's again this month, so I'll probably be back before that.

The only other franklin and bash news I have is an ever growing pile of fic I'm not writing, and a general garbled love for breckin meyer's face. I still don't think it looks entirely funny, but sometimes during it you can hear how it might be funnier/cuter if Breckin Meyer was saying it and not the actors they have chosen? But maybe they're making particularly bad trailers for it, or I am just unreasonably judgey on things without mpg in them.

It's wtf Wednesday, so you should talk to me and tell me anything. . . even if it's not snooker. I will attempt an interest:)

Hello! It's me. I'm not even going to pretend I didn't pick this week's cocktail out of a sense of hunger rather than thirst. Mmmmm, cobbler. I suspect apple cobbler is nicer than whisky cobbler, but if you want to try it: 3 ounces of whisky, 1 ounce of 'simple syrup' (???), fill it up with club soda, and garnish it with 'seasonal fruit'. (Also you're allowed to change the whisky for ANYTHING YOU WANT. Gin. Probably. Nothing's nicer than gin.)

Okay. I might be very much mistaken, but I sort of think NOTHING has happened since I was last here. I can't remember anything happening. I'm at a bit of a loss of what to tell you. So I'm posting some pictures of Breckin Meyer! On the assumption that pictures of Breckin Meyer are a great back-up plan for ANYTHING EVER. And because Vic basically promised to have my children if I did. (I'm probably not going to hold her to that, but I like having the option, you know?)

And Garcelle went to some independent spirit award thing where she sat between Matt Bomer and Ian Somerhalder, which is just . . . how do you COPE with that much eye prettiness all at once?
